SeCom2.0 presented at the “Web 2.0 und Social Media im Katastrophenschutz und Hochwassermanagement” Conference in Heidelberg

2013-10-17 15.05.05The question how Web 2.0 und social media could be used in flood risk management was discussed and presented at the conference “Web 2.0 and Social Media im Katastrophenschutz und Hochwassermanagement” in October, 17th in Heidelberg, Germany. Nearly 90 participants from Germany and Europe took part at this very interesting conference, where also the SeCom2.0 project was presented by Reinhard Vogt from HKC Cologne who is a very active member of the project consortium. The flood risk expert talked about why flood risk is a problem and how it can be tought to keep the damages as small as possible.
